In Poland huskies don't need to have an examination in sled pulling, but if our huskies had to, they would pass them easily! They are wonderful not only in the ring in dog shows
- where they have beautiful, clean coats, but they are also used to pulling in snow or mud.
|

|
The intensive training and distance for dog races is the job of Tom, who has a few times stood on the podium,this is due to his enthusiasm and super dogs.
|

|
|
Unfortunately our life has changed and we have had to change the type of training for our dogs. We don't train in sprints anymore, now its only for recreation. All Fortunatus dogs train for health, condition and most of all for pure satisfaction.

|
The strongest and the fastest team (6 dogs) need a strong musher and a higher frequency of training. Now our jobs don't let us train as often, but we don't regret this situation, we still wait for the first snow to take the sled and go running to the forest and fields with our husky team.

Very often we use our huskies in our daily life, for example to go shopping: two huskies pull the sled with our shopping on it and if we don't have snow we train them on a special 3 wheeled bicycle.
